Keepin' it Casual and a bit of blah.

I cut up my Dead Milkmen top.
It's pretty plain but I'm just lacking any new ideas of what to do with the shirts I wanna cut up these days. I was thinking of fringing up the sleeves but the shirt, in it's original form, was just too big to make a ago of it without having to re-sew the pits and shoulder area so the sleeves wouldn't fall down and I lost my white thread. I like it this way too though, it's simple and casual.
Top: DIY Band Tee
Hat: No Brand (DIY studding)
Undershirt, boots, belt: Forever21
Skirt: Glad News
Tights, Earrings: Ebay
Necklace: Hottopic
Ring: Betsey Johnson
First time trying my EOS Candy Brown lenses too.
I was really  eager to see what these would look like on my eyes. My eyes are like "the color of dead leaves" (as I called it), around the pupil (so like an olivey green/brown). Then fan out into yellowy green and have a very dark blueish rim. So I wanted to see if the lenses were capable of blocking out the darker parts and fade into the yellowy/green to give me more of a hazel brown effect.
I found myself missing the bottom half pink hair I had last spring and clipped in some pink extensions to mimic what once was XD.
I caught the full pink moon last week and got a decent picture of it, using my old olympus (and by that I mean not a bright blur lol). My Olypus isn't as good as my Canon but it has a much better zoom capability than my Canon's 18-55 lens that it came with and is the only one I have so far.
Since the pink moon is not actually pink I also did an edit of the moon to make it look pink.
I remember when I saw my first blue moon.... I was so disappointed it wasn't really blue XD

A Fairwell Pullover Week.

Well those few days of 70 something degree weather are almost gone until October, so I've been wearing some of my pullovers for probably the last time until fall since a lot of storms are moving in and it'll be cold for a little while longer. I'll most likely transition into amekaji or sweeter looks for Spring and Summer because the Arizona heat in dark clothes is just unbearable. No more wigs for awhile too.
Last Thursday, I wore my Minnie Mouse pullover.
It's kind of amekaji with some touches of rokku in the accessories I guess....more casual than anything else.
Sorry for the super doofy face XD

My makeup's been pissing me off lately. My face has been reacting to all my foundations and bb creams as if I had dry skin and I don't! Once it's on for about an hour or so, it patches and flakes up for some reason >:| I also lost my favorite eyeliner so I've been using a gel liner on my water works alright but I want my eye pencil back!

Today (my brother's birthday), I wore my beloved Bart Simpson pullover with my new Bart Simpson leggings from Rowme.
Derp 'til I die lol
I wore shorts over them because I refuse to wear leggings in lieu of pants. These leggings are absurdly difficult to match though and are baggy around the ankles I just wanted them because....y'know, Bart XD I didn't really have time for a proper outfit shot today so this is it, just to show the leggings.
I feel under-accessorised.
Top, Shorts,Shoes: Forever21
Leggings: Rowme

I tried my Vassen Bambi Queen Violet lenses for the first time! These are the first violet lenses I've had since my Nudy Violets about 4 years ago. I like them and think they're a pretty color but I feel like they give my eyes a bit a wandering quality lol but I think it might be because one of my lower lashes flipped up a little bit and I just didn't notice. I'll try them with different makeup on some other time.
Comfort: 9/10 (get a little dry after a while)
Design: 9/10 (could blend a little better into natural eye color, better for dark eyes)

Last Dark Outfits of Spring.

Well, I am dreading Spring and Summer this year based on heat alone XD These are just a couple of looks from this week on days where it stayed below 80 degrees (and I obviously had TIME to take photos lol).

The first one was very casual and based on pieces from Glad News and Ghost of Harlem. (none of it is brand though) so this post can also serve to show that if you know what you like and know what you're looking for, brand isn't always necessary, unless you're looking for a very specific design/pattern and nothing else will do, no matter how similar...or if you're just really into brand logos and mascots. I'm not advocating for counterfeit items by any means but I don't mind going for similar pieces...or making your own!
Example: Selected pieces from Glad News and Ghost of Harlem catalogs and shop staff that I like (above) and the outfit I put together based on these pieces (below).
Top: Stella (from Sweetdevil shop)
Hat: Ross (DIY studding)
Pants, Belt, Shoes, Cuff, Necklace: Forever21
Spike cuff: Ebay
Blurry but at least you can see my necklace XD
The next outfit was a little more agejo and based on mostly Ma*rs items. I mainly did this look because I styled my light blonde wig and thought it might look nice with agejo since it was a little more...princessy. This was a LOT more difficult as I have few pieces I think work with agejo but I styled this wig dammit and I wanted to try!
Top: Growing Rich (also from Sweetdevil shop)
Skirt, tights, necklace, ring: Forever21
Boots, furry leggings: Ebay
Normally agejo isn't really my thing (as if you couldn't tell). It was a little harder to find Ma*rs pieces I liked that looked anything like the clothes I own XD I switched black furry leggings for white ones to add some more white to the outfit AS black ones would make it a little too uniform in color for my liking. It probably would've looked better with a pretty Ma*rs style belt...but I don't have one XD

It's hard to see the stripes in hair this light but I guess that's normal. I wanted to color the roots a bit to add dimension but I'm out of brown acrylic ink and was also afraid it might make it look too rooted. The only two pictures I could find of really blonde sujimori both have a similar look so I guess I didn't do too bad. The thing that bothers me most is the bangs. The wig didn't originally have bangs so I cut some in and while I liked how I managed to flip them outward, they kind of prop themselves up at the roots now and cast a shadow on the hairline XD

DreamV and Me + Sujimori

I restyled my silver wig (again). After I washed out the first sujimori I didn't know what to do with it, I really miss the length on this wig though and deeply regret cutting it XD

After the hunt for a hairstyle I liked I tried a half updo with some sujimori. I like sujimori but I've just never been a fan of the BIG sujimori a la Black Diamond members, I think it looks awesome and I don't dislike it but my preference tends to lean more towards the modest side....well modest for sujimori, it's still big by regular hair standards I suppose.
I got this top and belt from DreamV a while back and finally got around to wearing them together.
I don't know why, but when I first buy something I'm just not that eager to wear it right away XD I got these late LAST YEAR and while I have worn them from time to time separately, I've never worn them together. One thing I don't like about the top is how (with the green shade anyway) every time you move the fabric really wrinkles up. I noticed it on the model but I figured it was because the shirt looked a little baggy on her and it was just hanging, whereas the other color options looked a little tighter on the model and there was no wrinkling so I wanted more of that fit but I guess it's just the color.

Gold leopard nails
I found my pinkXpurple sujimori wig too!
Yeah, I know, that one piece is bothering me too.
I was just looking for something to do that day so I styled the wig and kind of just threw it in my closet and forgot about it XD I never wore it and never did anything with it...I'll have to clean it up some before I use it but I definitely wanna do something with it...I just haven't decided what yet. But it will probably only be for off occasions on a day that isn't too hot or a Sunday where I have some free time.
